February 2007 Newsletter // News, Links, Inspiration, and more!

Welcome to the new Photoshop & Lightroom InFocus February Newsletter! This is going to be an excellent year as Adobe is scheduled to release some amazing software. One of the releases I am most excited about is Lightroom. Thus, I've decided to expand this newsletter to include information about Lightroom once it has been released.

Check out these cool links to see the new logos for the Adobe products coming out this year - adobe cs3 logos in flash carousel and adobe logos as a color wheel how cool is that!

Inspiration

Not just a wall... its a witness of time

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” - Elliott Erwitt

Orwig's Corner

Some of you may have heard me mention that when I was a kid my cool artist mom took my bro, sister and I on a field trip to a Hostess factory. I was amazed at watching how a cookies and twinkies were made. I could believe that twinkies started off as ordinary stuff, yet the end result was extraordinary. When I was a kid, I didn't know why we went to the factory. Now as an adult I understand. My mom was teaching us about the creative process. Since those early years I have always been fascinated with how people create just about anything. Pablo Picasso and his creativity has had a huge impact on me. Click here to watch a movie of the process Picasso went through to create one of his paintings - it is amazing!

Cheers!
